Keeping The Look You Want While Getting The Job You Want

Out of all the things that are important to men, two of the things that will tend to be among the most important to men - especially to young men - is that they have the "look" they want to have, and that they also have a job that makes them feel like going to work each day is fulfilling and productive. Of course, the main problem with these two desires (again, especially for young men!) is the fact that the desires of keeping a specific, desired look and having a specific job are sometimes in direct conflict with one another; if you have found that this is the case for you, here are a few things you can consider doing in order to keep the look you have while also keeping the job you want.

If you have a beard (and if it is important to you that you be able to keep a beard!), you should be able to get away with this as long as you keep the beard trimmed, and if you want to keep the beard fairly long, you can make it look more sharp by keeping your hair short and styled.
If long hair is your thing, this can not only be passable, but can also be sharp-looking if you take the right approach; make sure you are still dressing sharp, and keep your face clean-shaven (or, at least, keep your beard trimmed close and well-manicured), and you will look great!
And if you are wanting to have both the long hair and the beard, realize firstly that there are some jobs for which this will be acceptable, and realize secondly that you will be far more likely to be able to get away with this if you make sure you are doing a tremendous job at work! In fact, it will nearly be possible to get away with ust about any look you want to have if you are doing a tremendous job at work - just make sure you keep up the good work, or your desire to keep a specific look just might cost you your job!

Using Your iPad For Work

One of the most popular products these days is the iPad, as it gives you a surprisingly natural way to interact with your "computer" by allowing you to hold it in one hand and use the touch screen to navigate - but in addition to its uses as a "toy" or a "diversion," many people find that the iPad is great for more productive things as well, such as work; of course, the iPad is great for work if you are able to use it for such, as it is much more compact and easy to transport (and easy to carry around!) than a laptop - but you must also realize that the iPad was not "designed" to be a work device, and because of this, there are a few things you will need to do in order to turn your iPad into something you can use for work.
The first thing you need to realize is that typing on an iPad is altogether different from typing on an actual keyboard, and unless you are an extraordinarily slow typer, you will not be able to type nearly as fast on an iPad as you would be able to on a keyboard; because of this, one of the main things you will need, in order to turn your iPad into a "work device," is a bluetooth keyboard.
You also need to realize that the iPad is not equipped with Microsoft Word - nor, for that matter, is it equipped with a similar word processing program; because of this, you will need to purchase a program in the app store that will allow you to type in the same way you would at your work computer - and while there are a lot of different apps available for this task, the one that many people find works best is Pages.

And of course, you will need an easy way to share files across different computers - and while you can use email for this, this process can be made a whole lot simpler by having iCloud or Dropbox to naturally share files with hardly any effort on your part.
And finally, realize that you will need patience in order to use your iPad as a work device; it can be difficult to get used to this at first, but once you are used to it, you will realize that you are able to work from your iPad just as well as you can work from your regular computer!
